Farewell to the Land of the Rising Sun... For Now

Greetings, True Believers! This is just a quick update, but today is my last day in Japan. It truly has been a memorable experience, where I have grown as a person, made some fantastic friends, and went on adventures I never dreamed possible. For those of you who have been following, thank you and I hope you have enjoyed it. I know a lot of entries took longer than expected, but I hope you enjoyed what you saw, as I tried to pack as many pictures and videos as possible.

But, I am not done with Asia yet. Tomorrow, I will be on a plane to Beijing, China. I will fly to the capital for about four days and I will be back in the Land of the Rising Sun for another two (one of those days will feature the release of Final Fantasy XIII, so I'll report on this cultural phenomenon!). The problem with this is that Chinese government is not a fan of the internet too much, including Google, Youtube, and Facebook. Since this blog is sponsored by Google, I do not know whether I'll be able to update everyone about my adventures within a reasonable time span.

Not to worry though, I'll be pulling double duty to make sure that my entries are up in a reasonable fashion. I will even have a special guest blogger: my Mom! That's right, kiddos, my Mom will be heading to China and Japan to go on some of these crazy adventures with me! I'm really excited and the future can't come soon enough.

Well, that's all for now. Next time: China! Until then, True Believers, Stay Tuned!

Me and My Buddha

Greetings, True Believers! This entry is mostly about pictures and little text. One weekend, before I left Japan, a few friends and I explored some parts of Japan on our own. Since we were our own tour guides, we did not have anyone to tell us what were really looking at or what it was. So here for your viewing pleasure, a collection of pictures from my last few days in Japan:

Well, that's all for now. Sorry these entries have been taking so long. I don't have that many left to do actually, but I have been busy with school work. The next one will be up way sooner, so please be patient. Until next time, True Believers!
